"Arrived over the summer," Hyacinthe said with a shrug. The summer classes apparently were less concerned with the necessity of assistants. "Watch the class--like count cards? Or make sure that others do not?"

In Terre D'Ange, everyone in this room would be considered an adult. Hyacinthe couldn't see why they would need much watching.

No offense, Atton, but he'd been running about a tavern since he could toddle. The house always won.

"I'm teaching a class about probability at a high school, not running a casino," Atton retorted. "You're students. It's not like you have anything worth fleecing."

Especially not when you were a warrior monk who technically should've given up owning property entirely.
