Dante slipped into class late, while the movie was already going.

He sat down and tried to pay attention as deeply as he was capable of. It was... somewhat successful.

Since Alluka wasn't paying any attention to the movie, it was really easy for her to notice when Dante came in.

Oh. He kinda looked like he was off. A bit.

He was... probably not expecting the stuffed elephant she offered him silently. Look, he looked like he could use a friend. Alluka had a portable friend with her.

He could sit with her elephant.

... No. No, Dante, with his eyes set firmly on the movie, had not expected an elephant to come swimming into his field of vision. He turned his head, and caught sight of the hand that was holding it out - and the girl it was attached to.

He blinked. A few times.

"Uh..."

Sorry, Alluka. He wasn't firing on all cylinders today.

Hannibal was here, looking surprisingly unconcerned at their lack of proper lesson for today.

It had been a very good and very interesting weekend.

It felt weirdly wrong to be standing at the front of the room watching a film instead of talking forever.
