Objective 1: ShelteramthenightJune 7 2013, 12:48:05 UTC
You have branches and blocks of wood off to the side that had been carefully selected by Batman. That does not mean they're booby-trapped or anything. USING YOUR CDs, create a shelter.
If asked, Batman would suggest either breaking a disc to create a cutting tool, and/or running some of the wood through the hole in the middle of the disc to stabilize the frame of the shelter if you're building a teepee structure.
Re: Objective 2: Firelil_nikitaJune 7 2013, 20:30:30 UTC
Alex was taught a lot about survivalism from her father years ago, and that included the many ways to start a fire. All that was needed was sunlight, CDS, and yes, lots of patience.
Objective 3: Dig a Waste PitamthenightJune 7 2013, 12:54:37 UTC
Look, you just have to dig a hole in the sand with a CD. Not that tough. That's why Batman mentioned what it would be used for if this were an actual desert island. Fight through the psychological games he's playing and just dig a hole.
If asked, Batman would stick a CD in the sand, tilt it to lift the sand up, and say, "Repeat until you have a hole big enough to suit its purpose."

Whatever, she broke it to start cutting branches, which was a lot harder than it sounded, by the way.

If asked, Batman would tell them how to use two mirrored surfaces to create a fire. This would take some patience, of course.
Other options were available if you didn't want to play with sunlight.
