Write your investigative report, handwave and indicate what the report was about, waste precious time by passing notes or talking (Jonah won't interrupt you since it'll likely lead to an F anyway), or try to turn in your work after the bell only to have Jonah mock you.

Cal had known that he couldn't have actually done his investigative report on anything serious, since that sort of thing just made him feel really nervous and paranoid about the tables being turned and an investigation regarding him and karma and all that bullshit, so he pieced together his article with a lazy quickness that a completely random, non-serious topic could afford.

The topic?

Blondes are, on average, infinitely more insane than females with other hair colors, although, really, they're all crazy in their own special ways. The blondes just more so. His friends, after all, were the cited examples, and between all of them, he was pretty sure it made a very convincing case.

He wasn't sure if it was really investigative or not, but it amused him and that's all he really cared about anyway.

Rikku dropped the cup of coffee on JJ's desk before dashing back to her own seat.

If he wasn't going to give her special extra time for TA privileges, then he could deal with slightly-spilled coffee.
