As far as I can tell, they're unique to this island, which isn't unusual. Island habitats often give rise to new varieties of flora and fauna due to the isolation factor, though not usually entirely new species, which these seem to be. They wouldn't have crawled out of a meteor by any chance? No? Just a thought ( ... )

It's kinda humiliating or embarrassing or whatever? But then, lots of stuff around here is. Like the weekend we were all our own evil twins, right? Okay. So. Everybody looks stupid now and again, and it keeps us all on our toes. Billy took the stage, not sure how he'd got roped into this. But what the heck. "Last year I was bitten by a Gremlin, and spent the next few hours as Andy Kaufman. If you don't know who that is, look it up.

"And really, aside from freaking out my girlfriend at the time, it was pretty fun. Liberating in a way. It's not something I'd want to do again, but if you have a sense of humor, I don't see the big deal."
