Wonder about his magical wedding and if you should get him a toaster.

The answer to that? Yes. Yes, you should buy him a toaster.

Kabuto caught Haku's attention during the lecture, and very slightly sketched the "crazy" gesture, indicating Deadpool.

Charlie's mostly blinking. And staring. And blinking. Marriage. Puppies? Kill people? Is he really allowed to talk to them about that? And if so, and this is for real... oh, she's so flunking this course.

Kabuto pushed up his glasses before answering. "Where I'm from, ninja pretty much are mercenaries. And I'm curious to see your take on the job, as opposed to the Yondaime Hokage's views."

"But ninjas don't use guns," Deadpool pointed out because it was a very important distinction for him.

"And I'm sure Professor Yondaime and I differ in our views on a lot of things, and not just who should be America's next top model."

"No, because we don't need them. And they don't exist in our world, anyway." Kabuto looked more than a little smug. "Exploding tags work much better."

"A job is a job, right?" Kabuto said innocently. "You can't say you'll take a job, and then decide not to do it once you're already committed."

"No, no, no. I was asking if you would even take the job if it was something that violated your morals like a large inmate to the newbie in prison that looks kinda like a woman if you squint your eyes and tilt your head."

"What morals?" Kabuto asked, still keeping that innocent look.

Tapping his chin, Kabuto thought for a moment. "...I'm a medical ninja. Meaning most of what I do is very fine-tuned chakra control." He smiled. It was a pleasant smile, unless you cared to notice the underlying evil. "It's never wise to underestimate a medical ninja just because you think the term sounds harmless. We're usually some of the most dangerous people you'll ever meet. We know more ways to disrupt the human body than your basic fighters do."

(And how much good will that do if your body heals the damage as it's occurring?)

"Good to know little creepy kid, good to know."

The fun thing was, it wasn't necessarily damage. Everything worked just fine. It was just....rewired. Best if Deadpool not mention the healing factor to Kabuto. He'd want to run a few thousand tests on that.

The ninja just smiled.
