Well hello there, Fandom, and happy Valentine's Day Eve. I may have just made up a holiday, I'm not sure. Anyway, I hope you're all prepared for the dance on Friday, because it's Wednesday, or possibly technically Thursday, and now you're in crunch time.
Blah blah holiday blah, I just love my dress.
School, where there were classes and stuff
Public Speaking today dealt with defamation, which I'm both familiar with and think it should only really apply if the person is actually famous.
Lawyering Up talked about family law, and what makes a family a family. And one particular squirrel is worried about the squirrel/pretty girl ship being kept down. Please let that be the most disturbing thing I read tonight. And then the squirrel called
Sam's butt cute, so there goes that.
Gods class talked about
personality reconditioning, which sounds like brainwashing to me.
Driver's Ed- with the teacher who is horrible and I used to like him until that boot camp of a detention- had a
movie and a
quiz, which I hoped
Turtle and Marco passed because they talked about the dance during the movie. And
Discovery and Invention talked about human anatomy by assembling
skeletons. And
Lucas' pen-clicking got to Rodney, and Lucas, I swear, if you got into a fight over pen-clicking...
The office was open, and
Constable Fraser was visited in his office hours by
Robin the bartender who I think may be me in like 15 years except less gun-toting.
Adah opened the library, where the
librarian wanted to know why Adah tried to give him muffins. I take it that she didn't succeed. And there were visits from
RIver and
the guy with the arms and there's a squirrel here waving a flag with "OT3" on it. I have no idea what that means, but I think I'm sort of behind it.
Dorms, wherein people talked about the dance
Willow's Peter worked the table today to sell dance tickets and flowers in the lobby.
Willow stopped by for cookies and boyfriend time, with special attention to the fact that he is- and I quote- an 'adorkable nerd'.
Sky finally decided to snag some tickets, as did
Rikku, and
Triela met Peter and got a warning about drunken chinchillas. There's just nothing I can say about that that won't have me headed to the clinic for preventative rabies shots.
Liir cooked up a little extravaganza in the third floor common room, where
Cassandra worked on identifying foods by taste, which I always found is a good skill for when you go to a nice foreign restaurant where you're not really sure what you just ordered and have to do some guesswork after the fact.
Jack and Cassandra talked about the dance on Friday, have I advertised that enough?, and Jack and
Liir talked about the Host Club stuff. I have to check that out sometime. Smack me if I don't. Not literally.
Troy and Sky had a swimming date, and how did I not know how we had one of those? Might have to make use of that.
Liz made a phone call and got a visit from Billy, and Inara was a popular girl today. She's probably lucky I didn't summarize it as 'Inara had sex with everyone.' She told
Gavin about how her teacher painted them all blue,
Wannabe Me and Inara talked about dancing and driving,
Liir told her about his boyfriend, and
Romeo came to see if she knew how to get the blue off.
Rikku found out Reno's moving to a new room, which was a bit of a shock to his
roommate, hm, kinda bad form there, Reno.
Troy asked Sky to the dance,
Dick got a visit from a gorilla... Oh dear god. This place.
Karal... Okay, Karal had sex with everyone. Can I ge away with that instead of all the notes? No? Don't aim that nut at me, squirrelly, I'm bigger than you.
Liir gave him cookies and asked if he's taking Evey to the dance,
John and Karal checked in with each other and talked about the dance,
Romeo came by for some confession,
Luke was shocked to find out Karal's blue, and
Karal wants Aravis to meet his girlfriend. And then he had sex with everyone. Look, it's just a great way of summarizing, okay? Adds a little spice to the broadcast since it's the day before Valentine's Day and no one's getting it on. ...Oh my god I sound like my professors.
Hard to Get Peter and I had some TV time and made dance plans, and
Namine did a lot of pacing. I's okay, I'm sure someone will ask you.
*chittering*
Well, I can assume. I said everyone was talking about it. And now I'm talking back to squirrels. This place may be contagious.
Town, where they're probably too old to dance anyway.
Turtle and Canary,
the hotel,
Groovy Tunes,
the banana stand,
the post office and
Book Haven were all open and quite. Meanwhile,
Mary did some work at the Perk,
Pixie Dust was open for you next-to-last-minute shoppers, like
Andrew,
Cimorene and
Triela.
A.J. opened Luke's, where he and
River talked about Valentine's Day, and he told
Anenen- her about his muse being gone. Seriously, can I just call you Annie or something? It's close!
My roomie opened Pizza Planet, where he and
Bridge talked about the last weird weekend. Was that the everyone-wakes-up-different one or did I miss something?
Bridge and xander had a pizza date and
Tom was there to do his boss thing.
Andrew opened the Magic Box, and he and
Liir had a lunch date. Aww.
Over at
the place that scares me,
Liir brought Ino cookies, no doubt to protect himself against any errant weaponry coming his way,
Ino asked Cable about some pictures,
Michael came to talk about issues with his powers,
Lana was emo when she came by for her
lesson, and
Michael made sure Ino's eating right. Look at Mr. Nutritionist over there. And
Jack came in looking for a gun, but was told not until he talked to Cable. YES. Let's not be giving students guns like they're free condoms or something. I will sleep better at night.
Faith opened Caritas, where
Renee paid her a visit and
Robin who's a frog- wow- took to the
stage, and
Kabuto had a quieter night at the Devil's Nest, though
Ino did ask him to the dance. And finally,
Wilson manned the clinic in the morning, while an emo
Ronan took the evening shift. All the emo around here is because of the date, right? Welcome to Valentine's Day, now let's move on. If it requires heavy drinking, all the better. That's my plan, anyway.
And that's all my notes, so I guess my time is up. Now go eat your chocolates and work it off later like you know you're going to. You totally know what I mean by that.
