Hey, you did make it!
*chittering*
Oo! Okay, I know you guys are all about the rum and everything, but it's not such a big thing here, so I got you some tequila. If you don't like it, you can trade it for rum or something, okay?
*chittering!*
Yay! Okay. Hi everybody on Fandom! Cecil here, coming to you from the Pacific Princess, with all the
news about the vacation you're not on. Sorry, everyone. Except for Eliot.
Yesterday we headed to a place called
Mazatlan. Which apparently means something about deer? Not that I saw any. We got in super early, and
Cosette was up to watch the sun rise as we pulled in. Scott joined her and they talked about how they think the seventies are weird or something - kids, right?
Once we docked, there were all kinds of things to see, including a
cathedral of some sort. It didn't have any bloodstone circles, so I'm not sure what it was really for, but
Cassandra thought it was pretty nice, and
Isabelle was there and feeling all full of awe, too, and then
Flick met her and was like, "eh", but they went for food and talked about the place.
There was a
theater, too, and
Mara and Cosette talked about how Mara learned some neat new dancing and Cosette got some cool sheet music,
Anders and
Minako roamed around a bit, and Jono and Doctor Lecter - whose food is to die for - met some musicians and things got a little weird. Weird how?
*chittering*
What do you mean, "silly human things"? Sigh. Never mind; there's lots more news, and I want to get into Cabo today.
There was a place called the "
Golden Zone", too, which had all sorts of shopping and resorts and stuff, and
Stone Island, which had a lot less buildings but a really nice beach, and
Pacifico Brewery, which Jono and Doctor Lecter again visited to see beer being made, and this place where you could watch
high divers, which was really cool, and
Copala-Concordia, which were these adorable little towns.
And then after we got back on the ship to head to
Cabo, there was
dinner in the Coral Room with mariachis - who I don't think were playing disco. For that you had to head over to one of the
bars, like
Kitty and Clint, who were mostly worrying about what if the world back home ends or something and no-one can get in touch with you? Honestly, it's vacation! If the world's going to end, the world's going to end. You might as well have fun until then!
For folks who aren't so into the whole "fun" thing, there was
other stuff, too, though. I mean, if you really wanted to be boring. Or you could stay in your rooms and talk, like
Jono and Doctor Lecter.
But I say, just say "no!" to boring. Go out there, and find something boring, and walk right up to it, and just say, "no!" Or, since we're in Mexico - "no!"
*chittering*
I can't help it if you don't speak Spanish. Anyway, I'm headed off to Cabo now, which is really lovely, and actually warm, and the
weather is just marvelous!
