Hey, y'all! Miley Ray here for your weekly dose of energetic Southern charm in the mornings! How are you guys doing today? Well, I hope it's good, and I guess now we'll find out, 'cause here comes yesterday's news!
School!
Basic Strategy watched a
movie yesteday about knights. I guess 'cause knights have good strategy. No word on whether or not people liked it, but they could also talk to
Mr. Lannister or TA Kate, I guess if the movie was scary or something.
In
Aesthetics of Word I Can't Say, there was another
movie day, this time about dancing. OMG, was it Ankle Freedom? Dave and I saw that the other day. It was totally awesome. Actually we missed a lot of it. But it was good! I think. And they could also talk to
Mr. Bond or Bobby.
Cultural Understanding did not have a movie day, and they explored an art gallery instead. Psh. I'd take the movie, but okay. They
talked about what kind of art they liked, then did some
show-and-tell and
talked about how their cultures define art. And the
teachers were also around to talk to.
In
Creative Arts, we got to dress up like sculptures! We
listened to the assignment, then got to work
recreating art. And we could also talk to
Cute Tony or
Mr. Rogers, which is when Tony
told him there's a statue of him back home. Ooookay.
The
library apparently had some kind of train invasion. Yikes. And in the office, there were
skeletons everywhere. Uhhh.
Then in
Super Secret Boys' Frat, they did roller derby. Isn't that a girls' sport? They
arrived and mingled, and
Ben was apparently concerned, but Cute Tony told him it was fine. Then they
skated and they could talk to
Rock Band Warren and Cute Tony if they wanted, which is when Weird Topher - who's Dave's roommate, BTW, sorry Dave - crashed into Tony. I guess by accident.
*chittering*
Not by accident? Oh, okay, so I guess he doesn't like him, or something?
*chittering*
Oh. Um. Oh. Uh. Well. YEAH. So people could also talk to
Mr. Lannister! Who was there! And not skating!
Then in town - ooh, hey, is this squirrel new? I haven't seen you around before! Hiiiii, new squirrel!
Oh, okay, so we've got the usual
Ender-working-at-Stark-Industries thing going on, yay, except oh no, he was having a hard time getting in touch with a friend. Aww! And Ben came by and gave him a milkshake.
Is that supposed to be like that song? Or a real milkshake? What does that song even mean?
Then at
The Boards, someone named Troy put up flyers for a Winter Holiday Show! Ooh, cool! Auditions are Sunday and next Wednesday! Ooooh, if anyone wants to do a dance thing with me, totally call me! Anywho, apparently Troy, who I'm gonna have to meet now, made Jono musical director of the theater, and
Jono was all happy about that. Yay! Good job, Jono! I told you you'd get to be in music some day! And then
Raven came by to meet Troy. Fun!
At
Caritas, Tino and Jake were making rocket ships out of paper and throwing them around. Whoo!
Audrey was all, "What's all this?," and Jake showed her how to make one of her own and then they talked about her new job. Cool!
And at the
clinic, Ronan was on the phone. Dude, this guy never does actual clinic stuff, does he? Should we be worried?
And finally, dorms!
Immature Jack was on the phone and it was frustrating. Aw. I'm so sorry about that.
Then - ugh, Weird Topher. Okay, so he was doing something online. I guess writing something. The squirrels say it was actually a pretty good story. About - dude, that's weird. What are you doing writing a story about someone at this school? Oh. OH! Because the squirrels said he - ohmygosh, that is totally adorable! Okay, so Topher was
writing a story about his crush, looks like. But then I guess his
computer got messed up and started playing "Don't Stand So Close To Me," which sounds like a hint but I guess he just doesn't like the song. Then someone commented on his story and they
got to talking, and I hope y'all were following the rules of internet safety and not, like, givin' out your names and stuff. Then TOTALLY GENEROUS KENZI stopped by all sick and
demanded food, but Topher asked her how to spell - I can't read that. Scorch? Scrutiny? Something! And then he started getting
comments on his story from someone called AI. I guess whoever it was didn't like it.
And then finally,
Kenzi, who's still sick, was singing along with some dance show on TV, and
Stephanie came in and was all "Ick, I hate those" but they actually watched together. They're not that bad! I mean, judging them is a total nightmare, but -
Eep.
Um, I have to go! Bye!
