Everything was set up for the faculty meeting - the pie and the drinks, most especially, along with a very happy principal. Someone was still riding the love high from yesterday.

Juli looked faintly amused at the chocolate scattered around; really, the holiday hadn't been that big a deal. Nonetheless, she took a bit of chocolate and some tea before going and finding a seat.

Kerrigan was not particularly pleased about having to chaperone tonight.

You could kind of tell by her facial expression. She wasn't even looking at the chocolate.

"As many of you are aware, there's going to be a school dance this evening. I wanted to thank everyone who's signed up to chaperone. If you can pay special attention to keeping small animals out of the punch throughout the evening, I would personally appreciate it. Does anyone have questions about their responsibilities?"

Juli laughed softly then asked, because she simply couldn't resist an opening like that, "By small animals do you mean students?"

"If the students end up in the punch bowl, we've got big problems," Zoe said. "And no, I mean actual animals. We've had a chinchilla problem at some past dances."
