Miho was still waiting for the others who were going to the game trail. In fact, she'd gathered several sturdy bamboo spears, plus one hand gun.

Somehow, she had a knack of finding the munitions, getting in and out with no questions or problems. Maybe it was because she'd proven her worth to the camp by doing so many patrols, day and night.

She decided to get a bit of melon and see who was around. Frank was sitting at his half-built shelter, concentrating on weaving ropes. "Huh!" she muttered, admiring how quickly the shelter had gone up. Grabbing a couple of bits of the juicy melon, she moved over. "Take a break?" she offered the plate (well, rather large leaf) for him to help himself if he wanted.

Frank would be further along if he wasn't injured or he viewed this as enemy territory. Since he views this place as moderately safe in that people don't look as if they are going to be charging through the brush with machines guns just yet, he can go slower to account for injuries ( ... )

She squats down in front of him, the long shirt laying over her bare lean thighs. "Miho's the name."

Her mannerisms, while not coquettish, aren't exactly 100% Japanese, which is what she appears to be.

"Although, if you're having trouble remembering that? Sandra or Sandy will do." She shrugs "not fussed, really."

"I heard talk of hunting earlier, I think from you."

"Yeah, we often take it in turns to bring in the food, so there's Sam, Ripley, me and others. Usually depends on who's patrol turn it is. We'll sometimes bring in something we find on patrol, or if it's not patrol time, go out and look for it anyway."

She shrugs "but in your state, no, I wouldn't recommend it." she looks appraisingly at the 'sunburn'. "It's a good mile's hike from here, and that's just to the trail."

Frank grinned at the woman in front of him, "Nice to meet you Miho, I think I can remember that." Actually all three names are filed away, though Frank doesn't ask why you have two different names. He figures it's not his business.

Frank nodded at the talk of patrols, "Sounds good. Since I think Lulu won't be flying again any time soon that puts me kind of stuck here. I'll have to get in on those patrols." Frank looked down at himself, "Well if my life depended on it darlin, I could do it, but since you don't need me I'm happy to sit back for a few days."

Of course Frank didn't ask for help building his shelter, just started putting the thing together. "And actually it's only the ribs that really hurt. You get used to losing a layer of skin... This time it was more then one, but still Olga said my regeneration time was definitely improving."

"Regeneration? He's just here a few hours and already talking like the Doctor." Molly approached with a couple of mats. five to be exact.

Her wild mass of curls was still drying, and she was wearing a different set of clothing since this morning if anyone noticed.

"Speaking of, too bad the Doctor left. He has this neat dermal regenerator thing, takes care of surface skin repairs." Molly set the mats down and inspected the rope Jake had made.

"You, sir, have a valuable skill there, Samwise. I don't think we have anyone who knows how to make rope. And that's something sure to be in demand. Hell, you'll be able to stock up this shelter in no time in trade."

Molly handed him the mats. "We gave nine to all the newcomers. We're still working on the other four for you. These were made by Oona and Sue while I was out getting a fruit spa treatment."

She watched appreciatively, as Frank spoke. She was trying to really get a handle on him, but like all of the newcomers in the last day or so, she still couldn't figure out why her employers had chosen them.

She smiled, her eyes warming with the gesture, turning frm a warm chestnut colour, to almost reddish hue.

"I've shed my skin a few times." she said with a grin "Particularly when my Japanese father lost his temper." She's not talking figuratively, either, but her own regeneration always sees to it that there's no scarring. "It's been really nice to just get a break from reality here. Relaxing, you know?"

She offered another slice of melon, taking one for herself. "I don't know if there's bandages or something the Doctors can give you for those ribs? Did you ask?"

Frank glanced to Molly, "No doctor, Olga is though. I was just quoting. I know which end it the business end of the scalpel, and I know how to hit a knee just right to make it pop, but that's about the extent of my medical knowledge." He's military and special forces at that. He has basic first aid and enough basic anatomy to know how to hurt a man ( ... )

Miho cast a smile of greeting to Molly. She actually liked the Sidhe, could even pronounce the race's name without prompting. But then, like the Sidhe, she was also a creature of myth, so it stood to reason that she'd know other races.

"Hey, Frank? If you're serious about the patrol, maybe we should go out there at some point..." she gestured to the trees, then rose to her feet. "I don't often go on patrol in pairs, but if you wanted to, for your first night, you'd be welcome. And as for the burns? Why not see if one of the docs has suntan lotion... or wait for Scott to return, he can probably help with that and the ribs." She shrugged a little. "It's not gonna be fun to suffer injuries on a desert island."

The smile is a little guarded, but Miho still needs to get to know everyone in camp. "I should leave you to it, unless you need a hand getting that rope anchored?"

Molly looked up. "Burns?"

Her eyes took in Franks skin tone for the first time.

"I can help there. Hold on. I'll be right back."

Molly scampered off and returned less than two minuted later with a steaming mug and an uprooted alloe plant twice the size of a man's fist.

"Are you allergic to aspirin?" Molly asked as she offered him the mug of tea, sweetened with sugarcane juice. "Cause willow bark tea is what it's based on."

She knelt beside Jake and slit a heavy stalk of the aloe upen with a nail. "You want to do this yourself? I can get your back, but I am a virtual stranger."

Frank nodded to Miho, "I wouldn't mind patrolling with someone. It'd give me the lay of the land anyway. I haven't really seen much since arriving. I got the tour, so I know the basics." He paused a moment, "As for the injuries, as I've said... I've had worse and in worse places before. Life goes on darlin ( ... )

"Thanks. I had them professionally done. You can't imagine how much it costs. According to my mother at least fourteen hours straight of intense agony with little let up."

Molly began applying the allow with cool and light fingers. First, she coated Frank's face, however. Facial skin was very delicate, and prone to more sun damage. Already burned, he didn't need that added aggravation. At least this ought to help a little. Her fingers danced over his forehead, cheeks and nose.

"If those bruises start swelling, there's a small river... or a big stream we use for water, washing and swimming. It isn't icy, but it is cool. Someone can show you a shallow waterfall area to sit under. Best we can do in lieu of an ice pack." Molly frowned and looked at Frank. "In fact, you should do that now, then get all aloed up. It'll cool your skin as well."

Frank chuckled at Molly, though the mere action made him inwardly wince, "Yeah, I've heard mothers tend to really lay it on thick about the whole child birth thing." Now since Frank never knew his mother he has no real frame of reference except his ex-wife.

Frank stilled as Molly began applying the lotion to his face. He didn't want her getting it accidently in his eyes and he had to admit that it felt good on the raw skin.

Frank looked down at his bruised chest and then back at Molly, "Actually it sounds good, as long as it's fresh water." Salt water would burn like the dickens right now. Frank let out a sigh and grabbed his shirt. He closed his eyes a moment and steeled himself before rising to his feet. He swayed just a moment but got himself under control enough to motion forward, "Lead on my lady. I shall do as I am bid. How can I possibly argue the wisdom of a lady as lovely as yourself?" Yeah, Frank is teasing and it is clear in his tone.

"Blessed Daana, you lay it on thicker than Jack." Molly laughed as she led Jake to the bathing area.

There was a small, wedding cake water fall at the far end, just four feet high, it was perfect to just sit under, because the water was simalarly only four feet deep in front of it. It was the real bathing area. About twelve foot downstream was the swimming area, as that got to be considerably deeper.

"Careful, it can be a bit slippery. But the water's pretty cool. It ought to help. No salt, but it's got all the delicious additives any river or stream has. And in an hour, it'll have additional run off action."

Molly looked to Miho, who had come along. As Jake moved towards the small waterfall Molly grinned at the other woman. "Scoping him out for security or personal reasons. Or is it just pity? Cause that guy, definately looks like he had a bad morning."

Frank arched his brow up, "I haven't met Jack yet. Sounds like I should."

Frank followed Molly to the waterfall and nodded to her, "Thank you kindly darlin." He then breathed deeply and then proceeded to strip down to his boxers. It took supreme willpower, but he managed to pull it off and only looked like he was going to pass out once. He doesn't give the ladies too much time to admire his rubber ducky boxer shorts before he moves into the water, finding a good place to simply relax.

The rest of Frank is just as banged up as his chest. The man looks like he put into a dryer ball and set on the spin cycle.

Miho laughed softly, but there's a sadness in her eyes.

"Someone told me that I wasn't being approachable, or even making an effort to get to know people." she shrugged a little "I thought I'd make an effort."
