WHO: Frank
WHEN: Early afternoon, day 37
WHERE: Camp Crash II
INVITED: Anyone
STATUS: complete
Frank scouted the camp and picked a remote location for his shelter. He didn't leave his bag for a moment as he scouted for supplies and brought them back. He was happy once he had everything as that meant he could sit down. He was in a good bit of pain and needed to just sit still for a few minutes before he started building.
Once Frank had sat there and let himself get to a pain level he could tolerate he moved to excavate an area for his shelter, making sure that there were no hidden rocks or other things he couldn't see. Once it was all done to his satisfaction he began building. The man definitely seemed to know what he was doing. You have to love special forces and jungle survival 101.
The skeleton of Frank's shelter went up fairly quickly and now Frank was taking a bit of a break. The work had him stretched to his limits and now he wanted to do something that wouldn't cause much strain. That said Frank worked on making rope. He took thin plant fibers, braided them, braided those, and so on to start putting together a fairly sturdy rope. It was mindless work and might not even be necessary, but it gave him something to do that wouldn't exhaust him completely.
