I feel like I'm slowly losing the faculty of speech. Ever more frequently in conversations my train of thought is stopped short because the right word is just out of reach. Not sure exactly what is going on -- it's like English is becoming a foreign language. But I have several ideas about how to address this problem:
- Read a dictionary
- Carry a dictionary
- Affect a foreign accent to accompany my lack of fluency
- Engage random people in long conversations
- Play word games
- Engage random people in word games
- Stop talking and express myself through the accordion
- Stop talking and express myself through my fists
- Stop talking and express myself through Salada tea fortunes, which I'll carry around with me at all times (today's fortune: "Dirty rock star: 4x4 pick-up truck")
