birthday goodness and yays
I officially have train tickets to go home next weekend. I'm leaving Thursday evening, getting home in time to get pizza!, and coming back Sunday afternoon. YES!
Have been reading about the slave trade and African Americans in the colonies on and off, but mostly on, probably since about 4pm. Four hours is waaaaaay too much reading about that kind of stuff.
I didn't write about yesterday. Yesterday was pretty good overall. Early in the afternoon I went to Starbucks with Sabrina, Jen, and Robyn to discuss Kesher/FYSH things. The shit might've hit the fan, but I'm still unsure what exactly we're doing about it. Whatever it is, it certainly requires much more talking to people. We did talk about other things, and ran rampant through RiteAid which was quite fun. Later on, Dan schlepped out from UMD to go out for dinner with us. Laura, Dan, Robyn, Jen, Sabrina, and I went for dinner at Cheesecake Factory for my birthday. Cheesecake! I had a wonderful salad and Kahlua Coffee Cocoa Cheesecake, but it was sooooooo much. Followed by Pride and Prejudice viewing in Robyn's room. Dan had to leave early to head back to school, but he came out at all and that's what I'm happy about. *huggles him* Laura and I made it back around midnightish, at which time I hung out in the hallway for a bit, then hung out with Laura more, and then bed. So good day. Yay good day!
I've now done all the reading due tomorrow, as my lit class is cancelled because of the reading last Wednesday!, and next on the list is the psych that I didn't do for last week. And the stuff for this week. I <3 putting iTunes on shuffle, all kinds of random good stuff that I've somewhat forgotten about.
