"I can't believe I've just had sex with you."

I am IN LOVE with Misfits, people, and if they screw this up I will cry. But it is so good so far.

First off, how much do I love that it is Simon? I LOVE IT. And I love his performance, and how the dorky Simon sometimes peers through the future Simon, to prove to us that it is still the same guy.

Second off, Alisha and future Simon? Oh, my god, the levels of feelings and complexity there. How much he knows and how much she doesn't, how much we don't, it is scary and fucked up and yet there is this spark between the two of them. This spark that makes me love them together, instead of being creeped out. Yes, he is using his knowledge/her ignorance to sleep with her, and he is using the fact that he can touch her/that she's dying to be touched to sleep with her, but... there is something about them that rings truthful and tragic.

Because she cannot be with current Simon if she is with future Simon. Something has got to give. Future Simon will leave, or die. And while he using these things to sleep with her... First off, there is the greater metaphor of him really touching her, by opposition to the rest of the guys who have always wanted to touch her, and not touch her. We also see that glimpse of future Simon in current Simon, when she talks to him, and she sees it too, which is why she cries, for how much of a bitch she has always been to him, and how kind and considerate he is (although totally a weirdo).

And while future Simon is using these things to sleep with her, you know that he shouldn't. He knows that he shouldn't. That he is risking changing things. That she might tell people. That she might fall in love with current Simon too soon. That she might never fall in love with him. But he can't help himself. He came back for her, and not to sniff her panties, and he is drawn to her, and he cannot help himself. This is one more thing that makes me think that he might die, and that he knows it.

One of the most gorgeous things, which I absolutely saw coming but which was perfectly in character, is the fact that he went straight for the cuninlingus. I'm sorry, but how often do we see that on tv shows? Not that often, sadly. Usually it's penetrative sex that denotes love, but here it is even devotion, and love and pleasure earned through pleasure given, and it is beautiful, and to think that future Alisha has taught him so much about how to pleasure a woman, how to pleasure her and here he comes and gives it back to her before she's even given him anything... I want to know more. I want to know everything. I want these two to make me dream, and laugh, and cry.

I think that if I had the time, I would start ficcing again. These two would beat my writer's block. Oh, fuck, Misfits.

PS: not to say that I don't love the others. I do. All of them. But man, these two got to me.
