Davy Jones and his crew completely ruined the second movie for me. Enough with the CGI, esp. the hammerhead shark guy. Bleah.

Totally. I mean, I adore Bill Nighy, I was psyched about him being in it, but then - what? That was their bad guy? After Geoffrey Rush's Barbossa? Seriously? No. No, no, no.

You know what I particularly hated about Pirates 2? The hints of Jack/Elizabeth. It's like Disney heard all the annoying fangirls squealing for the pairing and actually GAVE IN. Give me a break.

Oh, god, she was so very Mary-Sued up it was painful. I loved her in the first movie. I loved all of them in the first movie! But between Mary-Sue-Elizabeth and Jack-Sparrow's-Caricature? Yeah, no, thank you.

I saw the trailer at the cinema when I went to see SP3 and it's been spectaculat... but did nothing for me. I get I got used to the whole omg!awsomelookatthecgiomgthemusiiic!!

I have yet to see SP3. Not sure I'm going to either. Oopsie! And exactly. The music is brilliant, okay, fine, we got it, but you need a little more than that to a movie! Even Depp needs a good scenario. Honestly. And don't get me started on the CGI. Is there a lot of CGI then? Hmpf.

SP3 was... painful. The only thing worth seeing was Topher Grace as Eddie/Venom. The rest of the movie was a FAIL!!!

If we imagine the whole movie is a sandwich and CGI is the bread, the you'll get a huge slice of bread with an olive on the top. :/
