(no subject)
Can't sleep, so I'm writing a post. Today was Lawn Parties, which is a day of prolonged drunken revelry amidst famous bands that come perform at the eating clubs. I saw the Naysayers at Terrace and Lupe Fiasco at Quad. I also had brunch and dinner at Terrace today. Contrary to popular belief, the food at Terrace is not bad. In fact, I had a lot of yummy stuff, like Eggs Benedict and French Toast, with Mimosas, for brunch, and steak, pasta, and beer for dinner.
Still in the process of deciding between classes, but I think I finally figured out the schedule:
CHM 303 - Organic Chemistry I - Biological Emphasis
PSY 258 - Fundamentals of Neuroscience
ENG 396 - Queer Theory
PSY 101 - Introduction to Psychology
Umm what else. Oh yeah, Chi lives next to me, which could either be a very fortunate or unfortunate thing. I've yet to decide, but so far I've managed to get work done in my room - surely a good sign.
Lots of drama going down, but that's what happens when your seedy upperclassmen friend preys on your blackout drunk freshman friend.
I've been drawing a lot of benzene rings lately. I kind of have a feeling that Orgo is going to consume my life very quickly. Scared? No. Excited? Probably not. The first midterm is in less than a month, and the first semester class has three midterms in total, a lab exam, lab practical, and a final. Yay Orgo!
This isn't helping me fall asleep. I'll try Naked Lunch instead.
