Uncle Robert ate all the soup!
When he was a waiter at the restaurant. He told them that he was a very bad diabetic and needed to eat every two hours.
Well, that's fine, they hired him. And we know how Robert is, he would eat nonstop if he was able to. He most likely poured himself a cup of hot soup, go wait on a table return to the cup and gulp it down and pour himself another cup, do another table and gulp down his cup again and repeat, rinse, repeat till the soup pot was empty and none of the customers got any of the soup thanks to that fatso.
Robert ate it all and left nothing for the customers to have! (I think they probably got really cheesed off at him about that little stunt!)
And when your waiter introduces himself to your table, it is always, Hi, I'm John, and I'll be your waiter this fine evening. And he does it to where only your table could hear him.
But not Robert! In a booming voice where the entire restaurant heard him, he introduces himself - Hi I'm Doctor Bob, and I'll be your waiter tonight.
What an idiot! You never introduce yourself like that! I'm sure that the customers probably wondered why is there a doctor working here? Is he that bad of a doctor that he doesn't have clients to see? And if there was an emergency in the restaurant, he wouldn't be able to help because he's not a real doctor at all.
But Robert is not a doctor but a motorcycle expert. In the 80's, he ran a magazine which he published and the motorcycle folks called him Doctor Bob and it stuck with him. But in the early 90's, he discontinued the magazine as he was in the hole each month as he would spend all the publication money and would need his mom to bail him out so he could publish the magazine.
Needless to say, he never paid her back for it. And his trailer that mom bought in 2004, so he could move close to home, has a loan on it which she's paying off still to this date. He thinks it was paid off and that the payments that she's doing is from her accident in Canada when a tornado flipped their truck and she spent some time in the hospital. But noooo!, Bob has to spin it to where his dad didn't pay the bill and now they found them and making him pay for her hospital stay. When in reality, it is to pay off the loan that they put onto their own home to help Robert move into the trailer which he ruined by neglecting the fixes that Herb told him needed to be done!
But that's Robert for you, he spins everything into his favor and doesn't take any blame for anything!
And we know the truth behind his name Doctor Bob, even though we didn't ask his old co-workers, we just know it has to be - Spin doctor Bob. Because he spins everything in his favor.
But back to the rant about Robert, that night for an hour he got a lecture about his behavior in the restaurant. They thought it worked as he was agreeing with them but the next day, Robert called dad and told him that he's going to quit because of the smoke that was in the air around the bar.
Needless to say, the real truth about it was that Robert got criticized by the owners of the restaurant and he didn't like it so he quit instead of pushing through and he could have done real good at it.
