And Just When I Thought My Mother Couldn't Get Any Worse
Okay, its eleven o'clock on a Tuesday night. My mother has her boyfriend over and they're upstairs in her room. Whatever. I'm used to it. But suddenly, she and him come stumbling down the stairs, and she is dressed like a total slut. I mean, I have nothing against skin tight mini skirts and low cut tops, but on a 46 year old, overweight mother, I think its a little bit out of place, don't you think?
Anyway, I stare at her oddly, given the situation, and I ask her where she's going. "To the store", she says.
Yeah, in five inch heels and a skirt that short? I don't think so. I call her on it, and she says that she just thought it "would be fun" to dress up. Yeah. Whatever. And then my grandmother says something from the living room, and she's like "oh, momma---mommy's awake?"
WTF?! Since when does she call her mother "mommy?" She hardly even calls her "mom". And then I notice she's slurring her words. So, that explains that.
How irresponsible can she get? I mean, if she was a teenager, I wouldn't care, but she's not, she's 46 years old, for god's sake!
