I have a friend who's been TTC for over a year with no luck. She's +30. She just sent me a bunch of her charts and I'm trying to help her figure out what's going on but I'm not super up to date on spotting problems. I just know something is off! The temp shift and CM are definitely not lining up in the expected way but it seems like she still could be ovulating. To add to my confusion, she just started using a digital OPK test that's giving her a positive when she's getting the egg white but the temps make it look like she's actually ovulating much, much later than 24-48 hours after the positive OPK. (Unfortunately I don't have an image of that chart to share.)
I don't really get how the digital OPKs work - is a positive just a detection of an LH surge with the same logic that applies to the analog ones?
