"all is fair in love and we're in love"

so i offended a customer today at work for "making out" with my boyfriend. as the tight bitch left the store she blabbed "get a room!" jim and i just kinda brushed it off, even though the temptation to respond with an equally rude comment lingered in my mind. after jimmy left i told one of the girls at the register what the tight puritan bitch had said to me and my coworker responded, "Oh the same one that complained to tammy about you?"

apparently, she felt totally uncomfortable and couldn't shop while we were "making out" and how unprofessional i was...

firstly, we were hugging and kissing in a very PG-rated manner
secondly, i'm not about to feel guilty or ashamed for being in love
lastly, what age are we living in? why can't two people be in love and be happy about it? i can't even imagine if i were "making out" with my girlfriend, if that were the case, what this women would have said. i'll admit it wasn't so very professional of me, but it is the paper store not a corporate office and also this is amerika:land of the free, right? Liebe oder Krieg? i am really having a problem with this country and the people that occupy it. it's impossible to please sometimes.

i feel bad for the woman because PDA used to bother me as well but that was before i fell in love and felt happy and comfortable enough to express it-even in public. i hope she falls in love someday. god, i hope everyone does.
