One of the benefits of working for a University is that if you want to take course to improve your skills they are generally open to it. In fact they are usually willing to pay for the course. I had a meeting with my boss today where I said I would be interesting in taking some online courses the University of Waterloo offers. She said no problem and that I would be covered for those course.
