And it has so much heart. I have to say -don't take this as a critique cause it's not- that you are such a clever writer than sometimes the heart gets lost in all that cleverness and your writing seems, well, not cold, but cool. I admire that ability in your writing A LOT but it was just nice to read this, where the heart just overflows. Am I making any sense?
“What if I don’t love you back? Doesn’t that possibility scare you?”
“No.”
She swallows.
“It doesn’t scare me at all,” he says.
OH DAVID.
These two kill me.

You are making sense! And I do know what you're talking about, and I don't take it as a critique and I'm not offended at all. This - I don't know. I don't know how to explain where all the heart and emotion came from, but THESE TWO. I think they just drag it on out of me, *laughs*.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! The world needs more posthumous Touching Evil and Creegan/Branca love, haha.

That being said, this is absolutely breathtaking bb. It fits in with that whole atmosphere the two of them created - a back and forth that was quiet and chaotic, pulling at each other but not quite making sense. There's a lot of vulnerability here and I love that - the Susan episode is the one I always remember the most and this is so true to that. Your voice is are spot on, Michelle. And that's just fantastic.
ads;klajsd;jlkad THIS SHOW. BB, it's always a pleasure to read. ♥

And thank you, Chrissy! To hear that I managed to capture the atmosphere and their voices, in particular, makes me so happy. These two were strangely challenging to write, *laughs*
BUT THANK YOU, BB! ILU &hearts

*facepalms* Your voice is are. Oh, my god. Your voices are spot on. And gorgeous. And ILU2.

What does that say about me that I still understood? *laughs*

This seriously just killed me. KILLED ME. GAH. You captured these two so incredibly well - the voices, everything. I know you mentioned being afraid you wouldn't be able to, especially Creegan's voice, becuase let's face it, boy talks in his own special way, haha. Not a lot of characters out there who are literally without shame. It's why we love him, right? But every piece of dialogue you wrote for Creegan and Branca fit perfectly, so perfectly I could hear their voices speaking the lines. I could see them in the motions, doing their dance, the looks and the little touches, all of it ( ... )

It makes me so happy to hear that I got the voices, because yeah. That was my big, big worry, haha. We do love him because he's shameless! That also makes him like the trickiest dude ever to try and write, hahaha. BUT THANK YOU!
It made me ache at the thought that this never got to happen in the show, because it would be have been so befitting of them.
YES. That's how I feel too - I mean, there is some closure, because that last scene of them in the series is so, so perfectly them, but at the same time? Yeah, I wanted more. ENTER, FIC! heh
I am so, so happy you liked it, yo! Seriously - it probably would not have been written without having you to ping ideas off of, hahaha. TRUE STORY.

I agree, the ending was totally them, and I'm glad the show went out that way. It's not the ending that's sad, just that there had to be an ending. THIS SHOW SHOULD STILL BE ON, MAN.

THIS SHOULD SHOULD STILL BE ON. I don't get why it was canceled - the critics liked it, for one, but then I guess the same could be said of Arrested Development, heh.

I havent seen Touching Evil but I have such a ridiculous fascination with the way you spin words that I couldnt resist.

And Touching Evil! I highly, highly recommend it. I think the first episode is up on YouTube? But it is SUCH an enjoyable show, and the chemistry between the two leads really cannot be beat!

Loved the ending bit, as well. Loved how the whole story kind of came full circle.
As for the show, I didn't know anything about it before I read this story. But, hey. Your writing is just so good it doesn't matter. Although, afterward, I did hop over to youtube to look up some clips. I love the scene in the airplane in the first episode, and he has no shame!
I might have to download all these episodes now. ;)

Definitely download some episodes! This show is a) awesome, and b) low maintenance in terms of commitment - only 13 episodes, *laughs*. So worth a go!!! :D
