This seriously just killed me. KILLED ME. GAH. You captured these two so incredibly well - the voices, everything. I know you mentioned being afraid you wouldn't be able to, especially Creegan's voice, becuase let's face it, boy talks in his own special way, haha. Not a lot of characters out there who are literally without shame. It's why we love him, right? But every piece of dialogue you wrote for Creegan and Branca fit perfectly, so perfectly I could hear their voices speaking the lines. I could see them in the motions, doing their dance, the looks and the little touches, all of it.
AND OKAY! THE FIRST KISS! Perfection. I mean, it fits of course that Branca doesn't think it should have happened that way, but I for one love that it happened that way. It fits with them, whether they like it or not. They're not conventional, they're not normal.
I love that you chose to write it from Branca's POV, the characterization was spot on. She's complicated and she has her own specific way of looking at things and thinking the way she does because of what's gone down in her life, and that is true throughout this entire fic.
My favorite scenes were the last two, them in bed, and the next time, at the office. It made me ache at the thought that this never got to happen in the show, because it would be have been so befitting of them.
WHAT ELSE CAN THERE BE SAID WITHOUT RAMBLING? Which I sure I already am, haha.
You are awesome, this fic is awesome, these two are awesome. Awesome, awesome, awesome. *gives you a trophy*

It makes me so happy to hear that I got the voices, because yeah. That was my big, big worry, haha. We do love him because he's shameless! That also makes him like the trickiest dude ever to try and write, hahaha. BUT THANK YOU!

YES. That's how I feel too - I mean, there is some closure, because that last scene of them in the series is so, so perfectly them, but at the same time? Yeah, I wanted more. ENTER, FIC! heh
I am so, so happy you liked it, yo! Seriously - it probably would not have been written without having you to ping ideas off of, hahaha. TRUE STORY.

I agree, the ending was totally them, and I'm glad the show went out that way. It's not the ending that's sad, just that there had to be an ending. THIS SHOW SHOULD STILL BE ON, MAN.

THIS SHOULD SHOULD STILL BE ON. I don't get why it was canceled - the critics liked it, for one, but then I guess the same could be said of Arrested Development, heh.

You would think with it being a small network they wouldn't expect large numbers. But I guess the numbers were bad even for USAs standards.

Blergh. Yet Monk is still on air? I mean, who watches that? hahaha

Oh thank god, I thought I was in the minority for not liking Monk AT ALL. Like, all those years the dude won the Emmy for it? I was like, "WTF, that's still on?"

I cannot STAND that show. Funny story: my mom thinks I love that show. I have no idea where she got that idea, but I was at home watching the Golden Globes or whatever and he was up for an award and I griped that I hated that show, and she was like, "but I thought you loved it?" and was totally serious. I was like WTF where did that idea come from????
But yeah, end of story: cannot stand it. And cannot believe it's still on air. I feel similarly about Boston Legal, but that show's done, right?

BOSTON LEGAL. Oh my god, the dislike I have for that show. When the two won both the Emmys that year? (or was it both?) I was ranting and raving the entire night, haha. So ridic.
Juno is on right now. Oh, Bateman, you're distracting me from my fiiiic.

I HATE BOSTON LEGAL WITH A PASSION. I have never even seen this show, but the commercials? And James Spader and William Shatner's FACES make me irate. I can't even deal.
Batemannnnnn. YUM.
Blergh - I called to check in with the temp people: no work today. Sooooo I think I will write and make a pot of spaghetti later? Hahaha, this is my life now?

Instead I redid my icon keywords? THAT HAS BEEN MY DAY. Lame-o.
How are you doing, yo?

HAHA! All I did yesterday was sort of kind of write and clean up my flist and change my layout. SO I KNOW HOW IT FEELS, YO.
I'm doing, like, REALLY good. I'm rounding out my characters right now and actually giving them better personalities, haha. The two siblings are now closer in age (irish twins? or whatever you call them) and they're german, etc. I'm giving everyone more specific nationalities now, haha. It's fun!

It's that kind of day for sure! Although I realllly need to write some more. And stop watching CSI:NY.
Fun!!! And they're German! Ohhh, I like! Rounding out characters is always fun, man. I like that part best.

And Peter's...Finnish. Haha, it seems so random, but I didn't even know Finland was involved in WWII up till this point (hello, not paying attention in history class all those years) and was actually aligned with Nazi Germany, but didn't actually persecute any Jews. It seems like they made a deal with the devil for supplies, because they hated the Russians so much? But anyways, I thought it'd be interesting to have a Finn and two Germans and see how long it takes for someone wanting to kill them? Hahaha.

I love that! I feel like that's a historical part most people don't know, and a cool twist. It adds that much more conflict to the story. And PETER - love the picture yo. You need to do like an epic post explaining all your characters - I feel like that would be super fun, hahahaa.
