Stay tuned later this week for some familial news (that a couple people know about, but we/I'll expand to [almost] everyone later this week). It may excite, frighten, or just cause a few eyes to blink. But you'll have to wait until later in the week anyways *laughs madly*.
Feel free and guess but just an FYI, I'll say "no" to everything, even if it is the correct answer, until later this week. *evil grin*
Pain Hurts. Kinda sucks, too, but oddly enough hurts less than the headache I've had lately does/did.
Why the Pain? Let's just say a certain li'l not-so-helpful-someone "helped" her ada-da spill some milk all over the kitchen floor. Her ada-da, in cleaning said kitchen floor with the little Jae out of reach thanks to well-placed baby gates, slipped and hit his neck/head against the counter door then the floor. Hearing her ada-da curse and yell (after just getting spanked), our li'l one ran fast and hard into the living room. *sigh*
After she was certain I wasn't irritated/pissed at her for my falling, she gave me lots of sympathy and hugs. Scary that a child of 13 months can understand that her ada-da was in pain.
Guess pain is a part of parenthood, one way or another *sad smile*. The pain's all in my neck, so no worries... I can still move and, like I said, hurts less than the headaches have been anyways!
Had a great long phone conversation with
vaslittlecrow! As usual, conversations with me are pretty random and go every which way. Don't think any spider monkeys or other poo-flingers were involved, though (not that I remember).
I'm halfway though watching a recording of Them! An enjoyable 50s sci-fi/horror classic (yes, I say classic, as this one is actually watchable even with cheezy giant ants!). Too much pain to keep watching, and since Jae finally fell asleep again, I'm going to be joining my family in the realm of dreamage shortly.
For now, goodnight, and hope you don't live next to an anthill of giant radioactive hungry ... uhm, ants. Ants in general I hate, but these buggers're hungry!!
