Birthdays To Come...? (Run, Run Far, Run Fast...)
One week and a day and 10 hours and 50 minutes into May brings us V-E Day, Iris Day (eye or flower?), National Nurses Day, No Socks Day (indoors I can see, but outside *shivers*), and World Red Cross Day.
Kid and kitties are sleeping and Elle is playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (picked up yesterday). In a month and a day, Elle's birthday - and a month after that, mine. Just remember, cash and money orders accepted, autographs do cost extra, and no, we can't break hundreds, but we'll happily take them (call it a "tip").
The last United States Titanic survivor has died ... no, not the film, though I'm sure there'd be celebration if Celine Dion and happy-boy whats-his-name-again were buried alive (*ahem* hint: I will accept as birthday present).
Seriously, though, gift cards are always a great idea, since we do have a child who sometimes needs things we can, surprisingly, only find in stores ... it's hard to hand-make formula and diapers, legally anyways... (uhm, yeahhhh...).
