I need to know a little more about the laptop. A brand and model number will do just fine.

hmm that might help huh? heh.
it's a compaq, presario.. uhhhh.. lets pretend that i don't know how to find my model number... pretending, of course.. haha.

Ok, almost there! The Compaq logo or the word Presario should be fallowed by a series of numbers and passably letters, like: The "Compaq, Presario A 1234 B" It should be printed right on the laptop like a name, I need those numbers and letters. And one more thing, we have to make sure low memory is the problem, and not a hard drive full to the brim. Now don't worry, just go into "my computer" select the "C" drive, right click and go down to properties. You should see a figure for "Free Space". If you've got at least a gig or so, thats not a problem, and some more memory should really speed things up.

As for free space..
"C" drive - 44 GB total, 23.7 GB free
