mOi 1st regatta
so it seems i haven't posted in quite a while, i'm sorry. as you can guess, college is buzy. and the number 1 thing that takes up more time the classes is crew. i'm a coxswain for the wonderful Novice Women of Marquette's Crew Team. Today at the Tail of the Fox (Fox River) in De Pere (Green Bay), Wisconsin, off St. Norbert's college campus, my 4 (boat w/ 4 rowers) finished 5th. It wasn't a great race but it was a good experience and needless to say fun but wet. It was a short race, the course was shorted due to high winds. A good thing was that my 4 beat the other MU 4. i feel bad for the people that didn't get to race cause the wind picked up too much and so all the afternoon races were canceled. they will be even more pumped for the regatta we have next week, Head of the Rock. riding in vans were fun.
