My humble thanks, the rain came
Life since spring break:
*I hear "Byyahh" too much
*Adam got a Wii ... this results in many people spending hours watching video games... of course this is what they did anyway.
*Got lucky on Monday in that the two things I was not ready to present got postponed.
*Did very well on my Free will exam... woo i love that class... did mediocre on everything else
*Facilitation on Thursday ... the class may as well just be me and jeff sometimes. I rarely talk in any class but in this one.. no one else does other than jeff.. so i find myself talking a lot.. I think it went well though.
*15 page paper due friday... I kind of outlined some of it and then watched them play D&D.. then watched them play a game where you push a guy down a stairs or wreck him with or in a truck and the point of it is to see how much damage you can inflict. Kind of awesome really. I think the guys turn me into an awful person. A lot of awful things I now find hilarious.. and I wonder if I was always inwardly amused or if it was a last few years kind of development. Anyway.. I intend to stay up all night... instead.. i fall asleep for 4 hours.. quite detrimental.. woke up at 630.. continued (really started) to write paper... had to go to class for 1030... came back and worked on it all afternoon.. it was due at 4.. i turned it in at 8. Sigh. this is the first time i ever turned something in after the time it's due.. i'm losing my touch. Luckily there were no strict rules about lateness of papers in the syllabus.. so i'm hoping just 4 hours won't be too much off. It wasn't even complete at 4 so i couldn't turn it in then. I wrote him an email to tell him so he wouldn't think i turned it in like sunday. Gah. Now I'm avoiding my email because I don't want to see what he said to me.
*Lame radio party... though there was a confetti gun.. that was odd.
*Saw Megan at the quarry.. the one who worked with me in philly and is currently in grad school. Good times... her new boyfriend has ridiculously long hair and she now wears a leather jacket.
*ahh.. stephen lynch.. awesome.
Anyway.. things on my mind (i'm in a listing mood)
*I am exhausted.
*Matt is one of the most observant people I know, and I feel like once he brings up something he observes.. he's probably right about it.
*I don't want to work on my presentation tomorrow.. it's due Monday. Sigh.
*Only 6 weeks left until college is over. This breaks my heart a little. I could have sworn it wasn't that long ago that the whole semester stretched out before me.. full of promise and possibilities. And it all seems to go the way it always goes... and much too fast.
*I need to take more pictures.
