Where the brave are free and lovers soar

im so spent.

Its been just about a month since ive gotten the chance to sit down and write. What a long month its been. A good one though, but i feel like ive just done soo much, and schools not even out yet. Im not entirely sure where i left off of what ive done in between, so i think im just going to do my best to highlight.

First and foremost, ive worked alot. And i didnt enjoy it. MAtter of fact, june 15th is my last day ever at the ymca, and i cant wait for it.

Senior trip has come and gone. That was such a good time that i cant even begin to talk abhout it without showing pictures, which will all eventually come together once i get more time to work on that. Man i forgot how much i missed disney and its surroundings.

Shortly after the trip came nick's 18th birthday. woo hoo. Know what i did to celebrate? I worked!

All of the money i scored on my birthday went directly to the prom expenses. And yes, prom has also passed. Aislinns prom was first, and i wish that i was the 2nd one of the 2. IT was such an amazing night, such an amazing weekend. The dupont country club was swell and the afterprom was just rediculous, minus the me losing half of my tuxedo part. Still hasent been resolved.

Aislinns birthday came that week, and i got her a cool book on dreams, a few road signs, and some cotton candy!

My prom was this weekend, and it was pretty alright. Not quite as fun as aislinns of course but it was still nice to see all of my friends and hang out at the afterprom for awhile.

Yesterday we went to kristin's grauaion party in the middle of nowhere. She had a chocolate fondue fountain, and really nice house, haha. As we sat and watched her open her presents and be all happy with cody, aislinn and i both felt like we were looking into the future.

lets hope.

so theres my highlighting. ITs brief i know, but i need a nap. Later ill add in all of the wonderful pictures i have of these three events and your just going to have to wait until i feel like doing that.

in the mean time... why not a classic song, one that describes the busy life i seem to have these days.

Life's like a road that you travel on
When there's one day here and the next day gone
Sometimes you bend sometimes you stand
Sometimes you turn your back to the wind
There's a world outside every darkened Door
Where blues won't haunt you anymore
Where the brave are free and lovers soar
Come ride with me to the distant shore
We won't hesitate break down the garden gate
There's not much left today
Life is a highway
I want to ride it all night long
If you're going my way
I want to drive it all night long

Through all the cities and all these towns
It's in my blood and it's all around
I love you now like I loved you then
This is the road and these are the hands
From mozambique to those memphis nights
The khyber pass to vancouver's lights
Knock me down get back up again
You're in my blood I'm not a lonely man

There's no load I can't hold
Road so rough this I know
I'll bee there when the light comes in
Tell 'em we're survivors

Life is a highway
I want to ride it all night long
If you're going my way
I want to drive it all night long
Life is a highway
I want to ride it all night long
If you're going my way
I want to drive it all night long

There was a distance between you and I
A misunderstanding once but now
We look it in the eye

There's no load I can't hold
Road so rough this I know
I'll be there when the light comes in
Tell 'em we're survivors

Life is a highway
I want to ride it all night long
If you're going my way
I want to drive it all night long
Life is a highway
I want to ride it all night long
If you're going my way
I want to drive it all night long
Life is a highway
I want to ride it all night long
If you're going my way
I want to drive it all night long
