[Anyone paying attention to the network this evening will note that a feed has clicked on to reveal a dim shot of one of Nescreca's many dilapidated churches, although it may be difficult to tell that's what it is, as whoever is in possession of the PDA is moving briskly around the room. [There's a loud clatter as the PDA drops, and then it's scooped right back up to show Lavi with a relieved - and surprised - grin. You're alright. You're here which isn't all that good, but the most important thing is...you're alright. In a way, it means that you won't be hurt at home anymore, just stuck with them in this place.

So he just waves and grins. Mind racing to try and figure out of he's been in the chapel that she's in now.]

[L-Lavi. Everything blanks. Everything. But somehow she manages to tremble a smile back at him despite that, despite the dull roar of blood in her ears, the tight feeling expanding in her chest. She wipes away the tears that fall on the PDA screen with visibly twitching fingers, and her lips move as she tries to say his name. This can't be real. This can't be.

God, why won't her voice work?]

[He can read her lips alright and lets out a silent chuckle, just grinning way too much for anything else as he mouths the words "Hi, Lena" slowly back at her. Lavi holds up a finger for a moment and disappears off screen for a moment, getting paper and a pen he is, and comes back scribbling on it.

"Don't panic, yeah? We've all had our voices taken for a bit. Creepy little girl's fault, the one that will give/gave you a number."

It stays up for as long as it takes her to read it and he turns the paper over, writing on it again.

"Any idea where you are in the city?"]

[He's okay. He's okay, he's okay, he's okay. Oh, thank god. She can't even find it in her to focus on the bratty child being responsible for her loss of voice because Lavi is okay. Shaking her head with a sniffle. No. A church-- that's about all she knows. That doesn't necessarily mean Lavi won't know, however, and even in a state like this she has enough bearings to get up and move to show him the sign outside. It's difficult enough to read with all the lichen and faded, missing strips, and even harder as the light starts to fade into dusk.]

[Of course he's okay! He hasn't been home for all that capturing stuff, all he remembers is he's fighting some new Noah he hasn't seen before. It's enough of a clue, he can definitely find the nearby area at least. "Coming," he mouths the words and even if she didn't understand them?

Lavi's on the move, though the pad and the pen have gotten left in his room, running down the stairs and too busy to even notice he's left the PDA on. Though it'll take him a while to even get there, he doesn't want to chance picking the wrong church with his hammer so he's running there.]

[The word is easy enough to understand once Lavi leaves the room, and it's accompanied by a wave of relief that hits her so strong and fast that she drops to the ground right there in the street, ears pricking for any sound even as she continues to cry. The blurring of the video on his end gives her a strange stab of hope-- god, she'd been so afraid she would never see him again.]

[Where as he had just seen her a few weeks ago, but still he wants to be there for her and wrap her in one of his hugs. Thankfully it's one of the churches that he's thinking of though he had never been inside it and he runs all the faster when he sees Lenalee sitting in the street. She should hear him yell her name and see the waving hand, the grin.]

[It's lucky he isn't close enough to see the jolt that goes through her when she hears the crunch of dirt beneath someone's feet and looks up to see him. Because it's a big one. In an instant, she's on her feet, and just about drops the PDA as her fingers slacken in surprise. That's him. It really is. She sways once on the spot, blinking hard, then sprints to meet him halfway. Flings her arms around him as soon as she possibly can. Lenalee never was one for pretense. "I missed you so much."]

[Lavi grunts soundlessly and grins as he wraps his arms around her in return, he hasn't had one of her hugs in a while and is all too happy to get one. He laughs, another silent action, and just hugs her tighter, "I'm alright, Lena. It's good to see you again."]

[You'll have to excuse the sudden soaking the front of your shirt is now getting, Lavi. It feels like her heart is breaking in relief. The PDA drops to the ground, but thankfully doesn't break, and she actually pushes him back a little with the strength of her hug, like she's trying to sink into him. She's so confused.]

[It's alright, they're just clothes, and tears dry so easily. If he heard about what had been happening at home lately he'd understand her need for this kind of a welcome. Lavi falls back on the ground still holding her from the force of the hug. And suddenly he's glad that Komui's not around.]

[Does it really matter? She hardly care for the scrapes on her knees that come from knocking him down. Had she a voice, she'd most certainly apologize for this, but... she doesn't. And so, he gets nothing of the sort. It's such a shame he left the pad of paper behind in his room.]

[He lets her hold and hug as long as she needs to, stroking her hair as they sit there. Though eventually he does try to pull her away to look at Lenalee. "Hey, let's go to the others, yeah?"

If they arrive in time they might be able to stop Kanda and Allen from killing each other over trying to be the one to rescue Lenalee. After all, Lavi can't be greedy.]

[Luckily, at this point Lenalee can at least half-guess what Lavi's glances can mean. She reaches around him to grab her PDA from the dirt and gestures with it; at the screen where Allen would be visible if the feed hadn't shut off when she'd dropped it. I need to see them.]

[He grins and nods, shifting to get to his feet and pulling Lenalee with him. Lavi points toward the apartment building, holding onto her free hand as he starts to lead the way. They could take the faster route now, his hammer or her boots, it didn't matter. He could tell anyway that she wanted to see their friends again and fast.]
