[That's... 'Lenalee' is what he wants to say, but he can't. He hasn't seen her like this since she lost the use of Dark Boots. Even then, it was never this bad.

Well, scratch that. He had seen her worse, when they were kids. But she was also a frightened little girl that didn't want anything more than to go back to her brother.

Lenalee was better off back home. Away from Nesreca, away from the Noah, safe in the new Headquarter's stronghold. He was glad to see her safe, but this was just wrong. There already so many people from their world here.]

[Taking a breath to calm himself, Kanda gives a tap on the PDA.

"Oi, over here."

If seeing Allen upset you, then seeing Kanda would potentially be even worse.]

[Potentially doesn't begin to cover it. She's still shaking when her eyes flick over to the screen again, and if there were any colour left in her cheeks, it drains away when she sees him. Suddenly, her legs just aren't gonna support her. Down she goes, bringing one hand to cover her mouth and the weak gasps coming out. The other drops weakly to her lap, leaving the PDA filming the ceiling and just barely the top of her head, which slowly bows as she does. Kanda-- Kanda's alive? That can't be right. She has to have gone mad, hasn't she?]

[Okay, that's definitely alarming. Kanda's quickly searching for something to write on and write with, taking a blank page from the back of one of Alma's books and quickly scribbles something on it.

There's more tapping on the device, and Kanda holds up the paper:

"Where are you?"]

[At the tap, the feed jerks and Lenalee's face reappears, steadily flushing a sickly red as she forces back all the feeling pounding in her head to read what he's written. Her eyes race over the makeshift sign and she twists and moves the PDA to show him the devastated interior of the church. Where indeed.

Slowly clambering to her feet so she can get outside and show him the sign. She has no hope that he can read it, but it's something, at least.]

[Okay, so she was at one of the churches. Nesreca had at least a dozen - the city was pretty damn big - so that at least narrowed it down somewhat. The sign was faded, which made it difficult to try and read the Russian on it. Dammit.

Flipping the paper over, scribbling something else, and gives a third tap.

Kanda's holding up a picture of a bean sprout with a question mark next to it.
