summary - “I can’t do this” with this Sophie ran.
The sound of a voice screaming her name brought Sophie back round. She felt someone trying to sit her up while she was getting used to where she was, realising that she’d literally passed out once again, The front door opened, making Sophie fall a little as she was leaning on it.
“My god, not again Soph!” Darcy looked at the blonde before kneeling down beside her room mate, “I’m sorry, I’ll take her to bed considering it isn’t the first time she’s drunk herself silly” Sian felt tears form but pushed them back, realising that Sophie’s friend didn’t know who she was. “It’s fine, I actually know Sophie from a while back” Darcy knew she noticed the blonde from a picture Sophie showed her when she confessed of her problems. Darcy lifted Sophie up before stumbling whilst trying to get her in, Sian grabbed the other side of Sophie and helped bring her in. Sophie looked after and smiled at Darcy, “aye darc!” she whispered, then looked up at the blonde before her face hardened, “hey Sophie, long time no see” Sian turned her head slightly, she just couldn’t face looking Sophie in the eyes, she knew the second Sophie realised who she was, the pain hit her all over again and it near enough killed her to see it.
“leave me alone!” Sophie attempted the stairs, falling a few times before making it to her room. It was past midnight, and that meant the first time she saw Sian again, was two years exactly since she left and broke Sophie.
Darcy just looked at Sian, hoping she wouldn’t have to ask her to leave it was common sense that Sophie didn’t even want to see her.
Sian looked down and whispered “I’m sorry, just tell her that” and walked out of the house, at that point she just had to let the tears fall.
“urghh” Sophie turned over and quickly placed her hand on her head. Last night was a bit of a blur, all she can remember is waking up in front of her front door then seeing a certain blonde, which she took as a dream before shaking all thought out of her head, best she could. She slowly got out of her bed, the thing she needed at the moment was aspirin and was reaching the cupboards she realised there wasn’t any. “Great” Sophie whispered out loud, she hated going to the shop first thing and in last nights cloths as well, perfect! She grabbed her coat and made her way out the door.
“Dad am off out, be back later” Sian shouted up the stairs, she had to go for a walk, every little thing from 2 years ago was running around her head like you wouldn’t believe! She headed towards the corner shop for a drink before heading to the park for a while.
Sophie paid for her Aspirin and the water before making her way to the park bench, she didn’t feel like sitting at home, even if she was in last nights cloths still, it’s not like anyone goes to the park at 8am. She reached the bench that she usually sat on when she wanted to just think. The images of Sian last night were running through her head like a slideshow and Sophie just couldn’t believe Sian was there last night, it had to of been her dream, she dreamt of Sian most nights anyway. “god I miss her” Sophie let her only thought exit her mouth aloud, thinking she was the only one around.
Sian froze when she heard those words come from behind the bush where she was planning on sitting, she really didn’t know if she could do this. She brought her hand to her head “don’t be so stupid Sian!” she sighed rather loudly at that thought. Sophie froze immediately, “who’s there?!” Sophie stood up, a little weary of who was there, She walked to the other side of the bush which at that point she very nearly fainted at the sight of her ex - girlfriend, the very same one that she’d been wishing would come back for about 2 years now, she was just very good a hiding it from the people around her.
“erm, h-hi Soph” Sian watched a tear fall from Sophie’s eye and hit the floor, god how many times could this girl break her heart!
Every word, every thought, every tear came flooding back to Sophie’s head, and it was way to over whelming, this wasn’t the right time.
“I can’t do this” with this Sophie ran.
