Yesterday I got to drive the scissor truck all day at work. Which takes you up to the top of the warehouse. Which was freakin' sweet as all hell. Woo! It's neat to be up above everyone else, and everything just seems like a whole different world. The whole work day just felt to different; and nice. Went by really fast because I just got to drove, and I LOVE driving, and of course it was something new and time always goes by when you're doing something new, eh?

So today I get to do that again, which is awesome....the whole reason I was driving it was to check this barcode labels on all the levels where they keep skids of merchandise. We are getting prepared for inventory already, because this is when it starts winding down and things get slllooooowww. Which is fine with me. Inventoy is later this month, and I has expressed to Brad (the foreman) that I wanted to go up into "F" level (which is the topmost level of the building) when we all did inventory. So, therefore, I got to practice on the scissor truck since that's what I'll be using! Woot! I wonder who my partner will end up being...

So, other than being uber-excited about that...(whatever makes work ENJOYABLE is always exciting), I got to go to SIX FLAGS GREAT AMERICA on Saturday, first time in about 13 YEARS, and it was FABULOUS. I went with Kat and her family, because her Dad's company rented the place out for the day, which meant uber-short or no lines, and we rode pretty much every single ride there. "Twas awesome! We spent the day with her older bro and g-friend, and her younger bro, who are all very nice people and it was just a good time all around. Superman is by far the best ride there. You have to ride that. Even if you are terrified of roller coasters, it's not bas at all, because it's so secure feeling. And you just hang there, suspended above the ground, and you feel like you're flying. WONDERFUL.

Then Sunday I had a mini comic book convention in West Allis, which are always awesome. Spent two hours there, spent the tiny amount of money I saved for it (got TONS of awesome deals though; comics for 50 cents? Heck-yeah!)and then visited my Mum and did misc. stuff for the day. All in all, awesome weekend; the first of hopefully many in my fave month of Oct. Woot.
