Okay, so I finally figured out my internet do-dads in the new place. I'm not sure I've gotten it to 100% how I like it, but it's close enough. It still feels like I'm living in a cool hotel, rather than my home, but I kind of like that feeling sometimes. I like falling asleep on the couch, with the television on, I like not having to "keep it down" for the other people in the house...especially since I haven't heard peep one from my neighbors (and one of them even had a party!). I like buying the food I want to eat, and not looking around to see if someone else is eating my good stuff and leaving their crap behind. I like people watching, although there is a great deal of privacy around here, so mostly I just see walking to and from cars...but still, I like it.
I like Ikea. I like Ikea like I like my women, cheap, easy, and lightweight, ha ha!! Just kidding.
Work is alright, but some of my co-workers could be a little more decent. There's only six of us, so one person getting sick is rough...three getting sick for four days in a row, all without doctor's notes (how convenient...especially since I've never been to the doctor in my life without getting some sort of paperwork on it) is just shady. So, I'm ready for my vacation. I get a whole week...paid...and yet I have no idea where to go or what to do. We'll see.
Oh, and on a nice side note...I have a pseudo-crush on one of my new neighbors. I don't know her name, but she's absolutely gorgeous. The only draw back, and reason I haven't had the gumption to approach dating yet?? Well, she only dates black guys. I'm painfully white. Now, I don't care about skin color...never have, never will...but I know that my personality sets me aside from most people...I'm a little nerdy from time to time...and I can't dance...and I don't care for rap music all that much. So I can already tell I'm not exactly her type. In fact, I may be the exact opposite of her type. But she certainly is good looking, and I'll enjoy seeing her around.
That's all for now, faithful readers and true believers. Until next time...keep it real, yo!
