Ok, so I'm not going anywhere for MEA break. Thank goodness, because I've got a lot to get done this weekend, even though I've made a huge dent in it already.
To Do List at the beginning of the break included:
Read World is Flat, chapter 14
Do Blog Entry 12 for 21st
Do Exam #2 for 21st
Possible math worksheet on derivatives
finish English project
read book one of Poisonwood Bible
finish my application to St. Olaf, including the basic filling in info and three essays
feather my wings (two full sides and the ridges) for my costume
finish gluing tape (yes, I'm adhering adhesive) onto my light rings for the costume
start tailoring my toga for the costume
send SAT scores to National Merit
As of now, here's what's left to do:
Possible math worksheet (need to get it from TRO)
finish a couple fields in my application, plus get two more essays done
feather ridges of the wings
finish light rings
start toga
send SAT scores
:) Two and a half days, and I'm just booking. I might actually get all of this done, in addition to playing some
Battalion Wars.
This is what's getting me giddy though: the essay I finished for the application had to be 250 words or less. My essay is...250 words. It was 249 words until I saw that a word needed to be added in my last sentence. So...yeah, that got me pumped up for about 5 minutes here. It was pretty cool.
The rest of the day is going to consist of finishing my wings and light ring, sending my SAT scores and possibly writing a second essay. Oh, and more Battalion Wars. It's kind of a fun game, very tongue-in-cheek, very funny.
Gonna go...do something, not sure what. Maybe get that ring done, maybe the wings. Taka out.
