One Week Later

So calc's once again under control. :) I've gotten better + more accurate at those rates problems, so w00t I can actually do them with a degree of accuracy now. I just need to figure out how to throw my ceramics piece now. A week of work, including 3 hours yesterday, and still nothing to show for it. It's starting to get a little disheartening, trying again and again without a final piece. Oh well, all I need is three good throws and I'm basically set, and I'm getting closer and closer to what I want too. So...hopefully I can get it before Friday.

Pit costume continues to continue. Feathering of the wings is still going on, though it's going much slower than anticipated. I've got one side of one wing basically done and have started the same side of the opposite wing. Hmm...to clarify my highly muddled explanation, here's a translation: I'm about 1/4 of the way done with feathering, approx.

I also have started my toga. I've got broadcloth cutouts right now, so it's still in its design stage. However, I hope to cut out the final shapes from this very nice cloth I bought a couple weeks back.

Anyways, not a whole lot else going on for the time being. Wind Waker still going strong, so that's cool. :) Went to GameStop today and saw this huge poster for the Wii. It, along with the DS and some GameCube stuff, are right between the entrance and the checkout counter, the prime location there IMO. Good to see Nintendo back on the top of their game, though the true test will be in the coming year. *hopes for Wii dominance like the good little Nintendo fanboy I am*

Gotta get ready for bed, have to get up early tomorrow to run sound at church. Taka out.
