Summerfest was pretty awesome. It was good to be able to see Rise Against, besides the fact that it was so crowded that we couldn't even see the stage. There were people making random mosh pits. They look so brutal, I don't think I'd be able to ever really throw myself into one. They are extremely entertaining to watch, though

college IS a culture shock, yet it's a welcome culture shock. i don't know how to explain it, but you'll love it.

it may be different for me, though, because i'm just a titter farther away from home than you are, but being away from everything you know and jumping blind into something new and scary/exciting can bring about some of the best changes in your life. college changed the shit out of me, and i'm forever grateful. i know several others who can attest to that, as well.

college is the first step towards becoming your own, independent person. trust me, it's fuckin cool.
