Summerfest was pretty awesome. It was good to be able to see Rise Against, besides the fact that it was so crowded that we couldn't even see the stage. There were people making random mosh pits. They look so brutal, I don't think I'd be able to ever really throw myself into one. They are extremely entertaining to watch, though.
Milwaukee is a very cute city. I like how spacious it is compared to Chicago (and of course, smaller). I wasn't expecting it to be so quiet, either. But it was nice to see what it was all about considering I had never been there before.
I had orientation at UIC two weeks ago. The campus is huge, and I'm afraid college is going to be one of those things I don't catch on to quickly. Basically a huge culture shock. I've decided on becoming an elementary school teacher. They are definitely needed, even if teachers are paid unfairly. I think I'll be decent at teaching. Especially 3rd-4th graders. :)
But yeah, that pretty much sums up what's been going on. 4th of July/Family graduation party on Wednesday. I'm also working 4 days in a row, Tuesday being a double shift. I need to work as much as I can before Canada at the end of the month, though!
Time for bed.
