This weekend I'm actually going to go out though. I'm going to see "Shaun of the Dead" tonight with my fellow nerd-girl Tai (the movie looks damn good!) and on Saturday we're heading to the Sick and Twisted animation festival at the Music Box. We'll probably get nice and licquored up too. Tai is one of those girls who's almost completely unavailable to hang out because her boyfriend takes up all her time...but he's in Vegas with his buddies this weekend so she's crashing at my place (she lives in the suburbs) and we're gonna make this weekend an orgy of video games, boozing, shopping and movies.
Last spring I broke up with a girl I'd been dating for about 6 months. It wasn't a pleasant breakup (she cheated) and at the time she had a BUNCH of my cold weather clothes at her place. For this reason I'm in DIRE need of clothes before the chill sets in. (LESSON LEARNED: GET ALL YOUR SHIT BACK FROM SOMEONE BEFORE YOU DUMP THEM.) I could have pretended that I didn't know about her cheating long enough to get my stuff back but I was so so mad that there just wasn't any chance of that happening.
Sidenote: A month after we broke up I discovered that I had her digital camera and a couple of her DVDs stuffed into a cabinet in my entertainment center. Its a shitty camera so I'd prefer to have had my clothes back. Fucking cunt.
