You know the drill, I'll come back to this later.
Sooo, today was memorable because I finally finished the Avatar series?
Lol I still can't believe I watched all three seasons in about two weeks. Well, it spanned three weeks, but I didn't watch on the weekends and for about half a week I took a break from it I think.
I'm still not even sure why I was interested in watching it. Maybe because when people talk about things that I've seen a part of before and never finished, or was considering watching/reading myself, I tend to gravitate toward them. Probably also because the movie is about to come out and I wanted to decide whether or not to watch it. Although maybe it would have been better to watch the movie before the original, since originals tend to be better than their big screen counterparts.
Anyway, I'm glad I watched it, because it filled in all the gaps between the random episodes I watched. It was interesting though because one of the episodes I didn't realize I watched was actually the second to last in the series. Although the last episode was in 4 parts and technically four episodes haha.
Soo, about whether or not to watch the movie. I'm still sort of undecided, but after some back and forth thinking about it, I'll probably end up watching it. Now, whether that's in theaters right when it comes out or at home through dvd rental, I'm not sure. It'll probably depend on if my family wants to see it too. For the record, I'll say that I'm not completely happy with the casting as I see it now. However, this judgment is solely on how I imagined the characters by appearances, so I'm keeping my mind open to the fact that they may just pull it off with their acting. Plus, now that I think about it, anyone would be hard pressed to find individuals that look like the characters, are somewhat experienced in martial arts, and can act. So I'm actually interested to see how it will turn out.
Interesting that it comes out three days after I arrive back home. Maybe I'll make it my coming home present lol.
