Another comic con report, this one linked from
torchwood_three, a community I am constantly grateful to - thanks again to the wonderful people who do such thorough listings there.
A quote I hadn't heard before:Barrowman, for his part, lamented that Captain Jack himself doesn’t get a lot of [sexual] action. 'He keeps his coat on,' Mori said.
'Coat sex, safe sex,' Barrowman agreed.
I'm not sure that follows. Maybe it's a 51st century thing....
And when Barrowman was told he was getting his own series with Torchwood:Gardner said that she and Barrowman were in a bar in central London when she broke the news, and [he was so excited] she literally had to put her hand over the actor’s mouth to keep him from making a scene.
I have a suspicion that isn't the first time this has happened to John Barrowman. Or the last.
And from
Pop Culture Zoo again, a list of writers coming up: Russell T. Davies confirmed for episodes one and five, James Moran for episode three and John Fay scripting the rest.. I don't know anythign about John Fay, but a new writer sounds like a good idea. I see that
wikipedia has titles now for the first three series 3 episodes, citing Torchwood magazine as its source: "Cold Blooded" by Davies, "Round the Twist" by Fay, and "Storm Warning" by Moran.
Is it too early to be excited yet?
