"Concise" is never my best thing! But "Day One" was easy. It's just a matter of finding the right theme....

Steaming along indeed, with more poems written in first draft... Hey, if I don't do it as a string, I'll never get it done at all. And it's fun. I'm still wrestling with the last few lines of the one for "They Keep Killing Suzie". I could kill them for spelling her name with a zed just to make it difficult for me.
(I guess I'm no one to talk - I'm an Elizabeth-with-a-zed. But I'm not trying to make a poem of that!)
