Day 26: A Torchwood Geek Moment You've Had

I don't think I've ever had a Torchwood geek moment. I don't do "geek". Or maybe I don't know what a geek moment is.



I will list some of my favourite Torchwood-related happy fannish memories:


1. Going to Cardiff and actually standing on the square of pavement above the invisible lift.
   
2. Reading all the notes and pictures and odds and ends in memory of Ianto on the grating over the doorway to the Hub.
   
3. Going to the Doctor Who exhibit in Cardiff and actually touching Captain Jack's greatcoat.
   
4. Meeting many wonderful people in Torchwood and John Barrowman fandom online, on Livejournal, and at the gatherings I have gone to.
   
5. Going to Torchwood, and having John Barrowman talk to us via satellite.
   
6. Getting John Barrowman's autograph. Twice.
   
7. Going to John Barrowman's concerts in the UK. Twice.
   
8. Decorating my bathroom in Torchwood style: Torchwood action figures, framed pictures from Torchwood magazine, and a pterodactyl hanging from the light fixture over the sink.
   
9. My backpack has a Torchwood label on the back. From time to time, I am approached by strangers in the street (or in grocery stores) asking me what "Torchwood" is.
   
10. The many wonderful times I have invited friends to my place to watch Torchwood, and we have a great time... Or at least, I do.
    
11. Having [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] come to my Halloween party as Gwen Cooper.
    
12. Scouring the Net for Torchwood news, photos, screencaps and icons.
