Yummy Cuban food...

On our way to Tim Horton's, Pim noticed that there was a new place called Havana Cafe on Bank Street. She'd heard about it on CBC. Intrigued, we went in.

We loved it. How often do we get to have Cuban food? Distinctive and delicous. I read about it online on my Blackberry while we were waiting for the food, how Oslaide Guerra is the chef, and it's owned by his wife, Alison, a fashion designer. They met at a resort in Cuba, and have a one year old daughter now.

The date stuffed with pork and cilantro was delicious; they make their salads with watercress and spinach, two of my favourite things.

I took pictures.

(I was amused to see that Joanne is pretty much wearing the same outfit Toshiko Sato was wearing in the screencap I posted a couple of days ago, here.)

2. A wall of cuban photos and art.
