It does sound like a very Faji-ish job and mission, but I don't know. If you want to do it, by all means, pursue what you desire; I can't stop you or make you change your mind just because of my worry for your health and safety. You know I still care for your well-being and, unlike you, death really just fucks me up; and if you were to die.. holy damn, I don't even want to think about that. But I guess if you can actually hold enough love for this country to want to risk your life for a bit of round metal at the end at retribution, rock on. Look at the little girl tugging on your pant leg crying and as a present, give her parents a nice round or two in the face because those were your orders.

Hopefully you won't actually have to be sent out and then you can just benefit from the physical exercise and lobor you'll be able to do while training. I know you love that and that will be good for you. Hopefully some of this garbage in Iraq can be resolved so US presence won't be all too necessary, but things just kinda suck there and blegh.
