Invites us to pray to know what we need to remove from our lives to be closer to God.
Dieter Uchtdorf

Post world war, he wondered, Is there any hope left in the world?
Young church missionaries brought answers to him and many others as they miinistered to former enemies.
Because of Jesus Christ, our sins do not define us, they refine us. Repentance is the difference. We can trust God, and we can trust Jesus Christ.
The Savior always teaches timeless truths that apply to anyone in any time. God is among us. Love God, serve him. Love one another. Serve one another. Invite all to the gospel. Lay aside the things of this world and seek the things of a better.
God is among us. Truth and happiness are available within His teachings. Trust the Lord. Witness Heavenly Father lives, Jesus Christ leads His church, Russell M. Nelson is His prophet.

Getting far enough in.
The best time to teach is while children are still young. (Eyring)
Accidental conversion to gospel does not happen.
Essential family conversations that invite the spirit help children build their foundation. The adversary is pleased when parents fail to teach their children. (Christofferson)
Role playing tough situations - then talk it out. Rather than being caught unprepared, they have experience to help in those situations. Prepare them for the battlefield of life. Get far enough in.
Prepare the minds of the children to be the future defenders of the faith, to make the choice of eternal life. Eternity is the wrong thing to be wrong about.
We can have a perfect brightness of hope through our loving savior.
Jan Newman,
Sunday School Presidency
Teach and also invite to learn on your own. Christ-like learning and teaching.
1. Learn all you can about the master teacher himself. "Teaching in the Savior's Way"
2. Evaluate and adjust your teaching to be more like His.
3. Home Centered, Church Supported Gospel teaching has the power to change lives.
4. Christ must be the center.
5. Conversion must come from within. We can't give it. (Parable of Ten Virgins)
The word of God teaches us, and Come Follow Me is the springboard that helps us. We can't give our children a testimony, but we can try to create the conditions wherein they will discover for themselves.
The only way to know is to experience it for yourself. Conversion is a personal journey.
Teach the doctrine, invite discussion.

We come as we are, yet we all have something to contribute.
As our hearts change, we see Him and find reason to be good. In Him, we discover abiding faith.
He trusts us to make the church the place He designed. A refuge for all.
We can each become a strong link in the chain.
