Ducks in complete disarray.
I am coming to you from the land of dialup which is painful in itself but I thought I should update in case anyone cared where I have been (the_girl_20 you are mandated to care and probably the only person who will read this - I will try to email with further details but have to get ready to go to annual Boxing Day film that my mother won't understand)
So important events -
TV? Still broken - I got it back for a week but did not watch it as was on nights and then when I did sit down to watch it, it lasted an hour. I was just going to accept it's death but my father had huge arguments with repair people and it is back at the workshop. Meanwhile I am still dreaming of a bigger better TV to replace it. Oh and I should mention that season two of Heroes got so much better following my last post.
Computer? Not so broken - Managed to break it too and patiently waited 6 weeks for the schelduled delivery date of my shiney new computer only to be informed thay it had arrived 10 days after I ordered it and nobody bothered to tell me - they tried to tell me I couldn't have one as they only hold orders for 2 weeks but I had an externalised hissy fit and they gave me one. I haven't been able to use it due to the next issue....
Hand? Broken Fell down some stairs, broke it (well part of it) and have spent the last couple of weeks having surgery and being tortured by hand therapists. As a result am typing with one hand which is frustrating in the extreme!!!!!!!! It also reaffirms my concern that if I died the Net world would be none the wiser.
Just so you know - Christmas was disappointly cool we didn't even reach 30 degrees C - how am I meant to freak out people in the Northern hemisphere with this???? Have to go to movies now.
