wow my house is upside and down and warm!

When I woke up this morning the temp in the house was 48 degrees. I decided that with the frigid temps that are supposed to be here all week we needed to do something. I contacted a friend who I trust who had used Spring Mountain Air here in town. I called and they were here in less than 30 minutes. Who knew we had a flame sensor and that it could go out? He also told us that they'd used a telephone wire in the thermostat and it would cause us problems so he moved it from one wall to the other (closer to the heater) and put in a wire that was 4x as thick. He did that part for free and also did not charge us for labor. I was really impressed.

It is nice to be warmer! A friend on Facebook had said they were having chili and that totally inspired me to make some for our dinner. Veggie tale chili so named because Z was a preschooler when I started making it and the name made it fun to eat peas and carrots that he wouldn't normally have eaten.

My house is upside down. LOL My husband was suddenly inspired from somewhere and moved furniture and deep cleaned and it is so nice. There is still clutter for me to go through but it gave me a lot of hope to see the difference he made. I haven't felt hope about it in a long time so this is a very good thing. I have been plugging along and making piles to donate and piles to just trash. We are going to get this done, I am determined.

The cats are funny with the furniture moved and new open spaces to explore. They go from being timid and even scared to romping through the room like it is a playground made just for them.

One of my best friend's kids is spending the night. It is fun to have another kid in the house but it always surprises me how much sibling rivalry the two of them have even though they aren't related and Z has no inkling what it really means to have a sibling.
