I am very tired after a hectic week of work and play (but mostly play!). Realisation that I must get on top of the growing work load is starting to cause panic...I should also finally find out, this week, how I did last semester. I find it very difficult to tell. Hopefully heading for a reasonable 2:1...

It seems many places, mostly the midlands, ( Read more... )

Lol, the long sword was er, made of foam! Not so impressive as a real long sword, sadly...But my friend does have a random collection of antique weaponry in his house...

The herd of deer were quite amusing...they circled me every time I moved - with the stag leading (one stag, many does by the looks of things!) - very nervous, but not nervous enough to bolt away from me...Thankfully. They are amazing to watch, when you sit somewhere during the day and they get used to you, you can watch them forage or drink from the river. Peaceful creatures, and one of my favourite places - I must get more photos of that park. A lovely place for a full moon - huge old trees and a wide clear river reflecting...*stops rant* (you can tell perhaps that I am somewhat sick of the city just now!)

A gifted writer? Coming from yourself, that is highly flattering, thank you :) I just wish I felt that was true sometimes lol. I know I enjoy it at times and can see I should persevere, but academia is so competitive...And I would like to view your writing someday - it is something you seem to be quite mysterious about. As I said, mysterious lady indeed! ;) - but always intriguing!

Yes, Aki has good taste in party-themes. There's always lots of decadence and occult-talk. Much fun, a rare occasion where I can say absolutely anything I like and feel comfortable doing so (without getting weird reactions, or none at all lol) :)

Thanks for wishing me luck with the camera! I took some of my boyfriend's band on Friday night and they really weren't very good (blurred and lots of noise). I was so disappointed...But I recently got technical advice on taking photos in such conditions (crazy bright lights, movement etc) and I hope to test it out in similar conditions tomorrow night at Fairplay (a Fairtrade-themed indoor festival gathering at the Uni). So just anxious to get playing with it really...So far, you are posting lovely images from yours :) I look forward to more.
